


Lucas Leperes Ole Naikuni
Lucas is a graduate of University of New Dheli and was admitted to the Bar in 1997. He has solid experience in criminal and civil Litigation with bias towards civil and commercial matters. As a partner at the Firm he handles Insurance Claims; Quantifications and Settlement of accident matters (running downs) and providing legal opinion; Handling Conveyancing cases for leading financial institutions such as Equity Bank, HFCK, Co-operative Bank etc; conducting official and personal survey at the Lands and Company’s Registries respectively; drafting various conveyancing instruments; court attendance and filing of documents at the Court Registry; imparting legal advice on internal governance to various NGOs namely AMREF, ECDP, Planned Parenthood Federation of America Inc(PPFI), Nairobi Family Support Services, Kenya Land Alliance, Family Plan Life Promotion Services, National Children in Need, Masaai Integrated Development Initiative, Maa Aids Awareness, MPIDO e.t.c.
As a legal officer at the NGO Council, Lucas was charged with offering secretarial and technical services to the Regulatory Committee of the NGO Council. Key among his success is at the NGO council was that he was instrumental in designing and writing proposals on Governance issues. Lucas has also served as the National Co-ordinator of the National Constitutinal Education Facilitation Committee (NACEFCO). He helped conceptualise, design and implement a three year framework for National Civil Education on the constitutional reforms and also raising funds.
Isaac O. Miencha
Isaac is a graduate of University of Nairobi, Faculty of Law and was admitted to the Bar in 2003. He has solid experience in corporate, banking, intellectual property, real estate among others.
Isaac gained practical experience from dealing with a variety of commercial transactions spanning the African continent, United Kingdom and United States of America involving local.
He has also acted for financial institutions in preparation of all manner of security documentation. In addition he has represented foreign clients in immigration matters with respect to application of work permits..
Isaac is also a registered patent agent in Kenya as well as practicing IP Agent. Isaac has had a broad experience on of Intellectual Property. He first worked with Innovative Lawyering, a policy research organization, as a researcher focusing on intellectual property and innovation in the context of sustainable development. He continues to have working relation with Innovative Lawyering and has a good understanding of the application of Intellectual Property in development. Throughout his experience he has dealt with registration of trade marks, industrial designs, and patents until 2006.
